Special Poem For Victims Of Nagis Cyclone In Burma (Shakespeare's Tear)
SHAKESPEARE’S TEAR
( 1 )
A Child
Is crying at a small broken hut.
Lack of feeding,
Lack of sleeping.
Even people are passing around him,
No one has a chance
To taking care of him.
The wild wind is kissing.
Some disable stars are giving lighting.
He is still crying
Hope is flying away, away,
And far away
From him.
( 2 )
A woman
Is teaching at a broken class.
Sometime she is laughing,
Sometime she is discussing
But, only disable tables and chairs
Seem to be listening her weak voice.
Even people are passing around her,
No one has a chance
To following up her class.
She is still teaching.
Sound of bell is flying away, away,
And far away
From her.
( 3 )
A farmer
Is working at a small field.
Sometime he is talking,
Sometime he is shouting
To his co-worker, a pair of cows.
Never go back home again
Actually, he is only alive around field.
No family, no facilities, no safety,
And having so many no, no, no...
But, he is still working.
Sound of his breathing is flying away, away,
And far away
From him.
( 4 )
Good evening,
Mr. Shakespeare.*
What do you think about it?
This is a real, real
And absolutely reality
But, no opera,
No orchestra
In the Irrawaddy delta,
Which was a victim of cyclone Nargis.
You might call as a plot writer
Made in Burma.
